Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to set up my printer on my own. I'm being told:
W.F.P. key length: Inactive
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
What should I do?
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 50.0

Canon PIXMA MX 532 printer.
I'm trying to get it to work wirelessly. The printer is "detected" by both the network and the computer.
I really don't know much about this. Someone told me that the: W.E.P. key length: Inactive
meant that something was wrong. subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 (if that means anything to you...)
Did you properly install the printer driver on the computer?
should be inactive (disabled), whereas it is active (enabled). The same goes for the IPV6. (according to the sheet I managed to print for the printer configuration)
In fact, I'm writing all this in ''parrot'' because I don't really know what all this
entails. I believe I have identified the problem, but I can't fix it.
Does all this gibberish help you help me??
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Yes, you can (apparently you need to disable IPv6 and DRX on the printer)
