Hello, hello! I'm looking to buy a new processor; currently, I have an AMD A4-5300 Trinity, and I'm attracted to the Intel Core i3, but I don't know much about it. The largest processor compatible with your configuration is an AMD Athlon X4.
If you want an i3/i5, you'll need to include a new motherboard in your budget at a minimum.
You need to check your power supply to see if it can accommodate it (power and connectors).
Indeed, you need to add 4GB of RAM. You can add more, but it's not always very useful, although sometimes more is more comfortable. DDR4 cannot be installed on DDR3 slots.
