I downloaded and unzipped.
I only take the SMbus file, right? My issue concerns a dde connection on the USB port.

And also, I don't quite see how to execute it (no option, no right-click or anything...??)

Run setup.exe

Yes, I unzipped and then opened the SMBus file, and there are 4 files:
nvsmb Safety catalog 8 KB
nvsmb.nvu NVU file 1 KB
nvsmbus Configuration information 2 KB
nvusmb Nvidia Uninstaller Utility

I do not see a setup.exe to run.

Run the setup.exe

'I can't say 'more' of an alert because I hadn't seen any before.
It was while browsing the forum that I saw that, among the first operations to perform in case of device recognition failure (for me, Seagate external hard drive), one had to make sure that the drivers were up to date.

Unfortunately, my Seagate external hard drive is still not recognized.
But that will be for another post. When I have ideas.
