Hello everyone,

I am trying to do something that should be very simple, but I can't manage it...
I just want that when I start my Freebox player and go to the "Disk" section, my NAS server, which is a "Synology" model "DS115j", appears so that I can read all my videos stored on my NAS on my TV via my Freebox player.

I have read 2 or 3 articles saying that I need to enable "quick connect" mode on my NAS, but I can't manage to do it, and I'm not sure if that's really the case.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    It's not a parameter, it's a package to install:

      Thank you very much!
I installed it and there was no configuration needed, everything works perfectly.
      Thanks again for your help.

      Best regards, Aurélien.

    Hello,

On the Synology, you need to enable the multimedia server (UPnP/DLNA server). Then the NAS will appear in the visible servers on the Freebox player.

    Best regards

Hello Jee pee, and thank you for your response.

However, I searched everywhere in the settings and could not find anywhere to enable Upnp in the NAS control panel.
Can you tell me where it is located?

      Thank you.

      Best regards.
