Hello, I have a problem with watching videos on YouTube, as well as an inability to play online games (World of Tanks,...) for a few days now.
I initially thought it could be a virus or malware, but after running Ccleaner, Avast, and Malwarebytes, I found nothing abnormal.

Avast only suggested updating Adobe Flash Player. I did that, and it worked, but the next day, here we go again, impossible to watch videos or go on WOT.

So I downloaded Adobe directly from the internet and the problem is still there.
After some research, I read that Adobe came bundled with Google Chrome when it was installed. So I uninstalled Chrome, downloaded it again and reinstalled, and miraculously, it worked. I could play WOT and watch videos on YouTube.

The next day, the same problem happened, so I started cleaning the free space on the hard drive using Ccleaner (after 35 passes), after 4 hours it wasn't finished but I stopped it anyway. Miraculously, it worked.
But today, I went on YT, I watched videos, but at one point, BAM, the problem came back...

Then I thought it was DirectX, but it's up to date...

Do you have a solution to my problem?
I'm on Windows 10, and I've been using this PC for about 4 months now.

Thank you for your understanding.

For my part, I had sound but no picture. I'm using Chrome, so here’s what I did, and it works for me.

Go to settings
Scroll to the bottom and click on Show advanced settings
Again, at the bottom, there is the System setting
You need to uncheck the box that says: Use hardware acceleration
Close all tabs and restart your browser.
YouTube started working normally again.
