Sound volume display on Samsung TV

Hello,
I would like to ask for your help as I am facing an issue with my Samsung UE50JU6800 TV.
Indeed, for the past few days, the volume display (on the left side of the screen) has been permanently visible.
It only disappears when the sound-related buttons on the remote control are pressed, then reappears a few moments later (opposite to what it should be).
I want to clarify that no button on the remote control is stuck. I can prove this as I have already tried removing the batteries from the remote to see if it would clear the volume display.
I have also tried turning off and unplugging the TV as well as updating it, but that didn't work.
