Samsung Series 4 LED TV logo display...

Hello, so here's the thing, I got a Samsung Series 4 LED TV and there's something that's annoying me. On the left side of the screen, logos pop up (LED TV, Samsung Crystal TV Series 4, HDMIx4, TNT HD, CI+, DV3, etc...)
They show up for 5 minutes, then disappear for 3 seconds and come back!
It's annoying and it ruins the picture :/

Is there a way to remove them permanently?

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 6.0.2

Hello, I had the same problem on my Samsung series 5 TV, so I just went to tools and disabled E-POP, and that was it!

  Little clarification: you need to use the "Volume" and "Menu" buttons on the television, not those on the remote ... don't get hung up on them like I did :-).

  I have a Samsung 32D4003. To remove the demo mode (icon on screen), press the tools button on the remote, select e-pop, and turn it off, that's it.

Hello!

This is the demo mode for the stores. The procedure to switch to normal mode is described in the user manual.

  PRESS the TOOLS button
  SCROLL down to DEMO
  and if it is activated, PRESS the RIGHT ARROW to set it to STOP.
  then PRESS EXIT to exit.

Hello,
I had this problem as well
and no manipulation worked
and it was impossible to find the famous menu that lets you exit demo mode...

But I finally found it; actually, I disabled the Epop

when I push info, my TV tells me that I'm in demo mode
but I no longer have any annoying overlays
neither the logos on the left nor the ugly gauge for electricity consumption on the right

my TV is working normally!!!

  at the recycling center because of its famous logos
  he no longer had the remote control and the store refused to explain
  how to proceed
  So I did some research online and found a ton of tricks and tips to
  solve this problem
  however, none of the tricks worked.......
  I started looking for a remote control to find the famous menu
  "demo mode" on/off,
  I finally found a remote control from a much older Samsung TV
  thinking, nothing ventured, nothing gained!!
  and miracle......no menu to switch from "demo" mode to normal mode
  grrrrr !!!!!!, but after searching, I became interested in the "Epop" function
  in one of the TV's config menus, I disabled it in "Epop".....
  and miracle, no more logo on the left and no more gauge on the right
  however, my TV tells me, using the info button, that I'm in demo mode....
  
  here's the very simple manipulation, use the "tools" button on the remote
  there a menu pops up and in the menu there's "E-POP"
  I went down the menu to E-POP and then chose "Off"
  I exited by pressing the TOOLS button and my problem was solved!!!
  
  I thanked my sister for lending me her remote control and I bought one on eBay for 17 euros, probably a copy but perfectly identical to the original model

Hello
I have a banner that appears on the left with an ad for Canal Plus.
I'm not in demo mode and there's no trace of epop in my menus.
Sometimes it appears
sometimes it doesn't
but it's so annoying

any help? please?

  Thank you very much, I had the same issue with the Canal Plus ads, I updated the firmware via USB (even though it said it was already up to date) and there are no more ads. It's a shame to have to go through these steps to avoid being bombarded with ads...

  If you no longer have the remote control, press the volume button on your screen. As soon as the volume display appears, press the menu button while keeping it pressed for a moment, and the standard mode will be activated! Super simple ;)
