stereo mixing not found Solved

Hello,

I checked before writing to you with people who had the same problem as mine, but I didn't find a solution to my issue which is as follows:

I have an Asus X75VD laptop that was working on Windows 8 with a Realtek audio driver. I was able to record streaming audio, but the computer upgraded me to Windows 10 along with an update of the audio driver which became VIA HD Audio (win 10). In the process, I lost the stereo mix.

Even when I right-click the recording window on the sound module, "show disabled devices" is already checked. If I uncheck and recheck it, still nothing appears!

In Device Manager, my old Realtek drivers are missing. I went to the Asus website to see what audio drivers are available: nothing for Windows 10. I downloaded the old Realtek drivers, but they didn't work; I received a message warning me of a compatibility issue and there is a warning icon associated with the Realtek driver in "Audio video controllers" in Device Manager. The audio driver has not been installed.
The driver update is not working either.

I am out of ideas and I've been struggling with this since yesterday.

Hello,  Try this driver here right-click on the sound icon next to the clock --> playback devices select "realtek high definition audio" as default restart the pc  pistouri

I tried to install the pistouri driver but since it doesn't appear in my sound/recording window, it's not the right one,

I downloaded several others from different sites but none are compatible

it's really a hassle, for the moment it's impossible to retrieve stereo mixing under Windows 10 with my Asus X75 vd, it's really crazy to wonder if Windows did it on purpose to limit sound recording during streaming, if that's the case, they should just say so and I wouldn't be stressing for nothing!
The worst part is that yesterday I had a setup under Windows 8 that worked perfectly, and I got tricked into downloading the latest version of Flash Player to listen to music on Deezer (what I didn't know is that they also threw Windows 10 at me with all this hassle) thanks Microsoft!!!!!

Hello  In the bottom right corner of your screen, you have a speaker; right-click on it and then click on recording devices. And what icons do you see there? Best regards

Thank you for your help jc80. In my first email, I already explained that I had checked the absence of the mixing console in the recording device (see my email above, as it can indeed be present but hidden, which is not my case). By the way, there is a tutorial on YouTube when you type "mixing table absent audio driver Windows 10," which is very well done on this subject. However, the Windows 10 driver it suggests to recover stereo mixing is incompatible with my computer.
I have already spent a lot of time trying to find a compatible driver; I am going to give up because I have another computer that works.
For those who are in the same predicament as me, there is someone who presents a procedure on the site "TousLesDrivers.com" which involves blocking the audio driver via Microsoft to prevent it from automatically reinstalling (as it is incomplete) in order to then be able to install another suitable one. I tried, but I was not successful.

Did he offer you a system image before going back to Windows 8?
Audio drivers come out every 2 to 3 months, but if you really want it right away...
I believe that if one day you want to return to Windows 10, in case the driver is updated, you will have to go through a new installation, as the migration has ended for free.
Your license key is normally stored on Microsoft's servers.
