Slow scrolling Facebook page

Hello,

for about a week now, when I scroll through my Facebook page, it is very slow and sometimes even pauses. Thank you for your response, best regards.

    Good evening,
    If you're talking about the news feed, it’s probably due to your computer (or browser) not keeping up.
    The further you scroll down, the more it has to cache previous posts (images/videos...), which is heavy to manage: that’s why it's lagging.

      Thank you for your response. I installed AVAST CLEANUP and it works much faster now.
      I also found the FB PURITY module to eliminate page suggestions that slow down the computer. I installed this extension and activated it, but it should be in the toolbar. It’s not there; there’s ADBLOCK PLUS but not this new extension that is used for the choice of deletion.
