Hdmi image but no sound

Hello,
I used to watch movies in streaming via my PC connected by HDMI to my TV, and for the past week, I don’t know why I only have the picture, no sound at all.
Of course, I’ve tried various manipulations like "show disabled devices," etc., without success. The problem is that my TV doesn’t even show up in the devices to choose from.
I also tested another HDMI cable and different outputs, but nothing changes.
I’m on the brink of a nervous breakdown; does anyone have a solution?
