The sound from my turntable is not working.
Hello,
I have a SL5200 Quartz turntable and the sound is not coming out through the speakers.
The speakers and the amplifier are working perfectly. The platter spins and the cartridge isn't very old.
For the connection, I plug in the ground and the RCA.
I don't understand. Do you have any possible solutions?
Thank you very much in advance

Hello Andy,
No, I can't hear anything coming from the speakers
I'm connecting it to the Phono input, which normally works because it works with another turntable.
It's worth noting that the turntable has worked with the same amp in the past.
And the cartridge seems to be working because I can hear the friction of the diamond in the micro groove. The problem probably lies with the amplification, in my opinion.
Could it be the RCA cable? Or else, what could it be?
Thank you for your help.
