Hello,
My laptop keyboard is no longer working, so I bought a external keyboard in the meantime. But I realized later that it doesn't have the "Less Than" and "Greater Than" keys. It's not easy to code, especially in PHP.
- On Windows, it's fine since you just need to generate ASCII codes by combining ALT and a number.
- On Linux (Ubuntu), I don't know how to do it. So I can't do PHP on Ubuntu. This is very annoying since I do most of my work on this system that I appreciate for a lot of reasons.
Does anyone know how to generate ASCII codes on Ubuntu, particularly "Less Than" and "Greater Than"? Or just how to obtain these characters without these keys?
Configuration: Linux / Chrome 52.0.2743.116

Hi,
I believe you just need to reconfigure the layout of your keyboard (currently in laptop mode) and select the layout that corresponds to your new keyboard.
Check the settings in Ubuntu: Configure the keyboard
