Configuration lbp 6020b on Ubuntu

Hello,

I can't get my Canon lbp 6020b printer to work on Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian. I tried installing the drivers as instructed using apt, CUPS, but unfortunately nothing works.

Hello,

On Debian and similar systems, here’s what I would do: 

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install printer-driver-cjet cups cups-client


Then I would try to declare the printer: in CUPS (click on this link) by following the instructions given here.

Otherwise, Canon doesn't seem to provide a Linux driver for this printer anymore. I hope it works so you won't have to change your printer...
