Hello.
I recently acquired a Neewer NW-700 (https://www.amazon.fr/Neewer®-NW-700-Microphone-Condensateur-Suspension/dp/B00XOXRTX6) which is a condenser microphone that unfortunately doesn't work on my computer (with the provided XLR to mini jack cable). In the documentation, they basically say that my sound card is a 3-volt card while a 5-volt one is needed.
I tested it on a guitar amp, and it doesn't work there either, and now I'm really confused.
The documentation states that if the sound card isn't powerful enough, I need to use phantom power, but I don't really want to buy one.
I have a Behringer DJX900 USB mixer and would like to know if it has built-in phantom power (since there is an XLR input for a microphone) and/or if the NW700 works with it.
Just to see if it’s worth buying a male to female XLR cable to connect the microphone to the mixer.
Or if you have a solution, I'm open to suggestions.
P.S.: I tried increasing the gain in Windows sound settings: it sounds terrible.

The answer for those who are interested:
buy this https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00NXUZARM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and activate AGC like this:
"control panel" > "sound" > tab "recording" > "USB PnP Sound Device" > tab "Custom" > check the box "AGC".
that's it!
