Hello,

I am currently stuck with the installation of my satellite dish using a decoder. I do not know what settings I need to configure on my decoder. Here is what is displayed on my screen:

I have a basic satellite dish with a single LNB. I have managed to reach a signal of 80% but the quality is always 0.

Can you please help me?

Thank you!

The dish is properly pointed (oriented) at Astra 1 19°E and not at a neighboring satellite like the Eutelsat series 5°W/7/9/16°E, Hot Bird 13°, Astra 2, 28°, etc... ?

The settings used for pointing must be effective, for example:

France 24 or TV 5:

11538 / 22000 / V

On my decoder, I tried the other satellites and the result is almost identical. What parameters should I set to aim for Astra? Because I don’t know what DISEqC, Mode tone, etc. mean.

POINTING

Parameters to choose and then store were indeed specified in the response for Astra 1!!! Let's remember that all free French channels can only be received via Tntsat and a Canal Ready Mpeg 4 terminal

They are all in "V" polarization and at SR 29700 (fec 5/6, if requested), but the transponders 11.895 or 12.207 or 12.268 or 12.129 or 12.012 Ghz can also be used, each encompassing at least one clear French channel.

The diseqc command, A or B or 1 or 2, is unimportant if there is only one LNB, thus no Diseqc switch. However, if there are 2 LNBs or a single monobloc LNB, it is necessary to set them up in the menu.

The pointing is based on the bar graphs of an integrated or separate pointer, especially the quality % as already explained:
