Pioneer Separate Hi-Fi System Issue September 95

Hello! I have a big problem with my separate HI-FI system where none of the devices (CD, cassette, and amplifier) start up anymore!!! I really want to get it working again!! It’s from September 1995! Please!!!! At first, it starts and everything works! I turned it on yesterday and everything was working wonderfully!! The Dolby Pro Logic sound, the Dolby surround... all the frills were working... And today I turn it on and nothing!!! Not even a sound light! Nothing! If you have any ideas, information, or advice to bring it back to life, I would be very grateful! With that, see you soon and thank you for your help.

    In my opinion, in this generation of equipment, you might find a fuse in the M770... it's sometimes even accessible from the outside, in a kind of "cap"...

    Assuming you tried another "power" socket... and another main power cable?

      Hello, thank you for this advice. I'll try it and let you know! For your information, the CD changer is a PIONEER PD-DM802, the cassette player is a PIONEER CT-W700 (Dolby-BC NR edition), the stereo control tuner is a PIONEER CX-770S, and the "Stereo Power Amplifier" is a PIONEER M-770. Just a simple question. Why should I change the speaker terminals? Since it’s a separate hi-fi system, the PIONEER M-770 (Stereo Power Amplifier) offers 3 terminals at the back of the unit, but nothing happens...!!! Why?! I don’t know.... I’m looking forward to your responses and your help... Thank you for your assistance.

    I don't know anything about this equipment, I was just asking if you had thought about changing the "power" plug, just in case...
    It seems you are saying that a single element is connected to the 220 volts and powers the rest... is that right?

    Hi! Yes, that's it! The Pioneer M770 powers the other machines (CD, cassette, and stereo amplifier). But should I test each machine (CD and cassette) on different outlets? Because when I connect the CD and the cassette to the main amplifier (the M770), nothing happens, no lights! If the problem is related to the power supply, do you have any tips for checking inside the machines for the problem? (cleaning, re-seating, etc...) Because here in Tahiti, only Carrefour still repairs these "machines" but at a very high cost! So if you have a "DIY" tip, your advice would be welcome! PS: about €3,500 or 420,000 CFP Pacific. Otherwise, I look forward to your replies... And thank you again.
