Hello,
I need help, when I launch Inkscape on my desktop, some problems occur such as my PC being slow and freezing from time to time, even sometimes crashing my system and the program does not start (no error window, nothing...). I uninstalled and then reinstalled to see, and it's still the same. Yet before, the software was working very well.
Configuration: Browser: Google Chrome
OS: Windows 7

Hi,
Problem solved by myself, actually it was a font that was messing up fontconfig (used by GIMP and Inkscape to load fonts), so my solution was to go to:
- Control Panel > Appearance & Personalization > Fonts
- then select all fonts
- and finally right-click > Delete (obviously system-used fonts won’t be deleted)
I relaunched Inkscape and it started. :)
