Hello,
I had two rather slow PCs and the RAM slots were not full, so I bought some sticks to improve the PC: a HP xw 4300 Workstation and an Acer Veriton M420, but both PCs still show 3.5GB usable in the "system" page regardless of whether they have 8, 6, or 4GB.
What should I do??
Thanks everyone for a little response
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 52.0.2743.116

Hello,
Are your PCs 32-bit or 64-bit?
For reference:

--Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it isn't there...-
Thank you for your response, as my PCs (running Windows 10 each) are 32-bit, I understand that they cannot have more usable addresses.
It's a shame because buying 4 Kingston sticks at 2GB each cost me about €160.
Moreover, the software AIDA64 tells me that my motherboard, as is, supports 8 GB of RAM.
I believe this software is reliable though.
Thanks again
