Messenger login without Facebook

Question

Hello,
I haven't had Facebook for a while now, but I use Messenger without Facebook, meaning with my phone number.
So I have a Messenger account.
Everything was going well until I changed my phone and now I can't log in to Messenger on my new device!
I have the option to:
Log in with Facebook (impossible, I no longer have an account) or sign up with a phone number.
However, I can't find how to log in with a phone number.
If anyone can help,

Hello, still try to register with your phone number if you already have an account with it, Messenger should be able to retrieve it.

I just tried and it created a new account for me, so now I have 2 accounts with the same number... So now I have no more contacts and photos, etc. Thank you for replying to me!
