Hello,

I really need help, my iPad is kind of stuck. I'm asked to choose a wifi network, I choose the one from my own house, then I'm asked to enter my Apple ID and the password that goes with it. Apparently, all of this is requested by my iPad to configure it. So far, no problem EXCEPT THAT I can't remember my password and I haven't noted it anywhere AND I'm not given the option to do "forgot password"..
How can I get out of this ????? I really need this iPad for my work.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your response, it helped me a bit. Thanks to this, I was able to change my Apple ID and password, but now when I try to enter all of this on my iPad, it tells me that the address I'm entering (the one I just created) cannot unlock this iPad. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I'm lost.

I thought you didn't remember the code only...
If it needs to be set up for the first time, this shouldn't block you.
Unless it doesn't belong to you or if it's second-hand and it is actually registered under another account due to this https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT201365
If it is indeed yours, you must absolutely use the account that allowed the lock or ask the seller if it is a used product.
Otherwise, you have no choice but to prove ownership of this iPad to Apple and see with them to unlock it.
