Transition Gt 720 to Gt 730

Hello,

I currently have an Acer Aspire 705 desktop with an Nvidia GT 720 2GB card and I would like to replace it with a GT 730 2GB because changing my graphics card also requires changing my power supply, so I would like to know if that would be possible.       I saw that the card is PCI-E 3.0 x16 but my motherboard only supports PCI-E 2.0 x8 max, so will the card be limited by this slot?

      Do you have a link to your exact configuration?
      But in any case, it won’t be a bottleneck with this graphics card, no need to worry.
      Note that if you’re considering a R7 250, make sure to find one with GDDR5 (the DDR3 version is less performant).
