Hello,
I would like to find the driver for the Epson Perfection 1200 scanner for Windows 10.
With each new version or update of Windows, the device drivers are unavailable.
I know that it boosts sales, but a device should be able to continue functioning without having to pay every time.
Please let me know if a driver works.
I read that the US driver for the Epson 2400 works for the 1200, but the attempt was unsuccessful. There must be a missing step for compatibility.
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 48.0

Hi,
Go to ma-config.com to perform an analysis.
Install the agent and then run the analysis.
You should see this window when you click on the shortcut (blue cloud) after installing the agent:
Click on Detect, it will analyze your PC and give you the results in your browser by selecting the Drivers tab at the top of the window.
If the site does not offer a driver for your printer, I'm afraid you'll need to replace it.

The site tells me:
Seiko Epson Corp.GT-7600UF [Perfection 1200U/1200U Photo]
Installed driver details
Driver name GT-7600UF [Perfection 1200U/1200U Photo]
Manufacturer Seiko Epson Corp.
But the device manager does not detect any scanner.
And it doesn't work, obviously.
So either run a live CD of Linux to keep using it, or buy another one.
Thank you again for your explanations.
I'm going to look into Linux. But there are many and varied offers.
What surprises me is that when I click on the scanner in the found list, it displays:
Installed driver details
Driver name GT-7600UF [Perfection 1200U/1200U Photo]
Manufacturer Seiko Epson Corp.
hardware identifier USB\VID_04B8&PID_0104&REV_0103
So it does indeed find an installed driver.
