Backup, the G drive does not exist?

Good evening,
I regularly backup to an external drive using Synback free and it works very well, except that during the last backup I received the message "drive G does not exist."
What should I do about this? I don't understand, as I'm not very skilled with this stuff.
Thank you for your help.

    Hello.
That means that synback cannot find one of the two drives, either the internal drive or the external hard drive.
Have you connected the external hard drive, or do you have other USB drives connected to your PC that might make the G drive no longer your external hard drive, but one of those USB drives?

Thank you Cado21, tomorrow the backup starts automatically, so before starting the computer I will plug in the backup drive via USB first and we'll see.
I think I plugged and unplugged a camera to upload photos but I didn't notify the computer when I unplugged the Nikon, the problem may come from that.
Response during the week, thanks again.

    Hello.
For my part, when I configure Synback, I assign a letter to the external drive that is far from the beginning of the alphabet to avoid this kind of problem.
To do this, right-click on: Computer or: This PC, manage, disk management, right-click on the external hard drive, change the letter.

With a bit of delay, thank you Cado21.
Okay for the info, everything is much better.
