If it's only in Programs Uninstall, "Uninstall", open Regedit, go there and delete:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\IObit Malware Fighter_is1]

It is in Add / Remove Programs and in the start menu but apparently it does not start

I think I am lost, is that it?

Yes, that's the way, you're on the right track to remove it from Add/Remove programs

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
    SOFTWARE\
    Microsoft\
    Windows\
    CurrentVersion\
    Uninstall\
    IObit Malware Fighter_is1] < Right-click -> Delete

For the Start menu, you just need to right-click -> Delete.

      Use Autoruns
      tab Explore
in the ContextMenu, you should have MalwareFighter.

And if necessary, switch to the Everything tab
      and filter for Fighter
      and uncheck everything.

    Hello again,

    With Regedit in 2 places:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\
    IObit Malware Fighter

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\
    IObit Malware Fighter

Ben, that's a puzzle for me...

    If you look in .lnk?

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.lnk\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\

Do a search in the registry from the top with Ctrl+F for IObit Malware Fighter

    It gives this:

    It's residues,

I don't know if CCleaner with its Registry option, or Wise Registry Cleaner which I've been using with confidence for at least ten years could clean some of them for you.

When Wise Registry Cleaner does not check all the boxes for cleaning, should I check them or not?

You can, there is not too much danger.

Make a search in the registry with the exact words:

    Scan by IObit Malware Fighter

There is nothing left in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit?

Delete everything file by file if necessary.

Do not just uncheck, remove IObit traces with Autoruns and from the disk.

    Restart if needed.

If it was still in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit

But I think it's good this time, there's nothing left anywhere
    Thanks again fabul :)
