Hello everyone, a year ago I created a fake Facebook account to secretly communicate with someone. However, today I want to delete that conversation, not only from my account but especially from the account of the person I contacted so that there is no trace of this conversation in case they decide to show it one day.
Is that possible? A friend told me that I could "report" the conversation as abusive content and that it would delete it from both accounts, but the problem is that there is nothing abusive in this conversation; it's mundane... At that point, does Facebook bother to check the content before deleting the conversation, or is it deleted immediately once reported? That would be too easy...
Otherwise, I thought of something else. Once, while looking at my old messages, I came across a conversation that I wanted to open, and there it said, "This conversation has been temporarily deleted because the sender's account requires verification," so no message was visible. If the same thing were to happen to this account, the person would get the same error message and would no longer be able to see the messages I sent them. Does anyone know how to make my account "require verification"?
If only it were enough to delete your account for everything to be deleted from other accounts too, including conversations... Facebook is not great for that.
Thanks everyone, I hope there is a solution...

There is an undocumented way to delete a message from the recipient, which involves:
Thus, the message will be hidden from both sides.
Officially, according to Facebook, there is no way to delete a message from the recipient except to ask them or to have control over their Facebook account:
Here is Facebook's official response:
- reporting the message as Spam (using the actions menu),
- then deleting it from your messages,
- then deactivating your account and reactivating it after a few hours
Thus, the message will be hidden from both sides.
Officially, according to Facebook, there is no way to delete a message from the recipient except to ask them or to have control over their Facebook account:
- Deleting a conversation does not delete it for the recipient;
- Blocking the recipient does not delete/hide the conversation;

Does the message never appear again?

If I delete it from my place, will it also disappear from the recipient's side?? How can I be sure it worked properly?
