Hello,

My HP Laserjet 1320 printer, which was working perfectly until now, no longer wants to print. One of the three lights on the printer (icon of a container with dots inside) is lit orange, and I don't know what that means. Can you help me? Thank you very much in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Mozilla 11.0

    Hello,

It's probably the "Toner" that is empty... if I believe your description of the icon... A photo could confirm or deny this diagnosis..

      Thank you very much Jeannets,

What is toner? Does it mean we need to refill ink?

As its name suggests, it is a Laser printer, its full name should be "HP LaserJet 1320tn"...

-- You don't put ink in these printers... because they don't print with ink...
They print by burning a black powder deposited on the paper... This black powder is called 'Toner', located in a reservoir, it has a certain number of copies and then it needs to be replenished.

If that's the problem..?? Lacking a photo, I can only guess.
But normally there is a manual with the printer that explains the meaning of all these indicators.
