I have been looking for a while for a way to set up a slideshow on my two screens and to display the same image on both. Is it possible? Or is there a software that can do it?

Otherwise, there is a free but quite tedious solution: you take a screenshot of your desktop, then go to a photo editing software. You fill your screenshot with your image at both resolutions, and thanks to the extended display, as I mentioned above, it will work. But I hope for you that your slideshow doesn't contain too many images. Otherwise, there are probably software options, but I don't know them.

You should try the clone mode (duplicate this display) for the slideshow...
But adjust the lower resolution to the higher one (it will still look ugly).

Finally, to have a different background on each screen, if I remember correctly, you need to use a software like Tires that manages wallpapers (usually paid).
