Hello,
I AM WRITING TO DENOUNCE AND FIND OUT IF ANYONE ELSE IS IN THE SAME SITUATION AS ME.
Big scam.
I had a blue screen pop up with a bunch of codes. A big warning recommending that I CALL THE SUPPORT NUMBER IMMEDIATELY.
I called and got through to a company called Anitech 365. A guy connected to my PC, told me there were viruses. He admitted that their pop-up was misleading advertising but asked me for €250 for the repair and told me there would be a monthly payment of €30 for their assistance, which would be directly debited from my credit card.
I hung up. I took my computer to a colleague who cleaned it to remove the viruses that this bunch of crooks injected into it.
BE CAREFUL, MASSIVELY DENOUNCE THIS SCAM BY A COMPANY BASED IN SPAIN TO THE AUTHORITIES. I AM GOING TO FILE A COMPLAINT FOR ATTEMPTED FRAUD.
THE PEOPLE ONLINE ARE SALESPEOPLE WHO ONLY AIM TO SCAM US. I AM SURE THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES IN THIS SCAM AND TO DO SO WELL AND AVOID JUSTICE BAAAAH THE COMPANY IS SPANISH.

Hello,
The phone number is... English. If you want to file a complaint, I wish you good luck, apparently the site is hosted by Google in the USA, finding the right court will be tricky.
In the meantime, check your machine by following the advice of the specialists here.
People who fight can lose. People who do not fight have already lost.

Unfortunately, this scam is becoming more and more widespread. We can never emphasize enough that in this case, you should never call or follow the instructions of this kind of virus.
A virus that gives you a phone number to remove it is surely a scam! It is always better to have a good antivirus on your PC and on a bootable USB drive as a precaution (there are very good tutorials online detailing the procedure; it’s better to be safe than sorry) as well as a bit of questioning.
Without wanting to cast the first stone, this kind of scammer continues to operate and enrich themselves thanks to the foolishness or ignorance (most often) of internet users who are too poorly informed about the dangers of the internet, whatever they may be, and how to protect themselves.
After all, to determine whether the real perpetrator of the crime is the fisherman, the fish, or the hook, that is another debate (the scammer, the internet user, and the internet if you prefer).
Most of the time, a good antivirus along with a restoration backup of the hard drive and a bootable antivirus on a USB stick are the best remedies.

Hello, I used this site "Anytech 365" for a year. I had to call on them 4 to 5 times. They would take control of my PC (with my permission, of course). They told me that I had a large number of issues on my PC and that they would fix all that!!!! Result: little difference in hardware before and after!!! This makes me think it’s a pure scam.... It cost me €600 for a year!
My contract ended in July 2024 and surprise: I haven't received any follow-up from them this year!!! This makes me think it’s indeed a scam.
As for filing a complaint, I’m not considering it, but....
