Hello,
I would like to connect my external hard drive via USB to my box, so that I can access it through the LocalCast app on Android, allowing my Chromecast to display its contents on my TV.
However, I cannot access my hard drive when it is connected to the Bbox.
It’s a Sagemcom f@st 3504b.
On the other hand, I plugged a 16 GB USB stick into the box, and that works; I can access this stick via LocalCast to watch my movies.
The hard drive is correctly mounted to the box (I click on mount the drive via http://192.168.1.254/)
Do you know why I cannot access the drive via LocalCast? It doesn’t even show the available drive, but it correctly displays my USB stick?
My hard drive is 1.5 TB, WD Elements.
Thank you very much for your help.

So for those interested, if your hard drive is not detected by your box, format your HDD to fat32 (be careful with blu-ray rips larger than 4096 Mo)
My box does not support NTFS.
My USB drive is in fat32, which is normal for 16 Go of memory, however a 1To HDD is more suitable with NTFS but not in this case.
In case Windows does not offer formatting your HDD to fat32, there are some small free software available that can force the formatting to fat32.
And it works perfectly!
