Hello,
I have a MUSE M712DR car radio.
After using a 64 Go USB stick for months that worked perfectly, I lost it.
I bought a new 32 Go USB stick and it does not work.
I have tried all the different formatting options out of desperation, knowing that the correct one is FAT32...
Could it be a bad selection of the "allocation unit size"?
I have the choice between 8192 bytes, 16 kilobytes, 32 kilobytes, 64 kilobytes, and also the option for "Default allocation size".
I have 94 tracks on the USB. I put them in the root of the USB, then in a folder, etc... nothing works, it does not work.
Before plugging the USB into the unit, I take out the screen to see if the unit detects it, loads the tracks or anything else...
The basic green DVD ROM screen appears, then in the upper left corner of the screen, a small icon appears for half a second with a circle with a diagonal inside, as if the car radio does not even recognize the USB stick.
What should I do? How can I fix it? I can't stand listening to the radio anymore!! Please help me!!!
Thank you in advance.

Hello, is the USB key 2.0 or 1.0? According to the car radio manual, it does not support USB 3.0. Then, let's see when the key is inserted, in the car radio menu, there is no function to install the USB key?

Well spotted! It's a 3.0 key.
How can I tell if I'm buying a 2.0 or 3.0 key in a store?
Is it written on the packaging?
Thank you very much for your prompt response!
Best regards.
