Hello,
I recently got a Sony Bravia KDL 43W807C TV
Even after waiting for the USB stick to become inactive, whether I'm out of the video app or the TV is off, when I remove the stick and put it back into my computer, it shows an issue. At best, it asks me to follow a repair procedure, or even to reformat the stick, at worst it's done for.
Does anyone have any idea what to do?
Thanks!

Hello,
This key is formatted by your TV and cannot be used elsewhere because it records in a proprietary format, meaning that recordings made by the TV cannot be played anywhere else.

Yes, I understand but in this case, it's a downloaded file. Not a recording made from the TV. The key is formatted in a standard way. The movie plays correctly.
It's when removing the key from the TV that something happens. It seems like I'm removing the key "hot". On a PC, you actually have to take steps to "safely remove the device". Here, on the TV, the key is no longer active, I've exited the video app, and yet it seems that the files remain open ...
