Hello,
For the past few weeks, I have been unable to open my photographs in the "pictures" folder, even though they display as thumbnails. A "class not registered" message consistently appears when I try to open them.
My system is Windows 10 on a Lenovo PC.
What can I do to be able to open my images again?

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 49.0.2623.112

Hello, try right-clicking, "open with..." and select "photos" or "Windows photo viewer"
Otherwise, to permanently fix the issue, you would need to tweak the registry... And since I'm not an expert and when you don't know, you don't say anything....... I will keep quiet...

    Hoping I could help you

Thank you, it's at least a solution for opening images by enlarging them, and it works in that regard. But it is true that I would like it to be possible to do it like before by double-clicking on the thumbnails.

Hello, did you finally find the solution? I have the same issue and it's true that going directly by double-clicking on the thumbnail would be more convenient.

      Hello, try this:
      Right click, properties
In "open with:", click on "modify..." and select "Windows Photo Viewer"

      Hoping to have been helpful...
