Hello,
I recently had a little problem with my TV
http://www.lcd-compare.com/televiseur-LIS19LCDTNT175-LISTO-19LCDTNT-175.htm
When I turn it on, it stays in standby, but as soon as I switch to a channel or change the source, it displays the image very well for a second or two, then it disappears and the TV becomes like unplugged or turned off.
I took it apart and noticed that there was a coil with copper around it making a lot of noise when I press the power button! If I press harder or softer on the power button, the noise changes.
I also noticed that this noise stops when I exit standby mode for 5 seconds (as the TV takes a long time to exit standby to display the image) and starts again when the image appears for 1 second before finally stopping completely.
Everything is well connected and the soldering looks clean.
Do you think the coil needs to be replaced?
Thanks in advance, I don't know anything about electronics, I'm more into computers :D
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 50.0.2661.57

If you prefer option 3, that's great! Here are my first impressions and hypotheses:
I don't think it's a problem with the coil because it still manages to start...
The problem is probably due to a capacitor that has burned out since the TV still turns on for a few seconds. Good news, because it's easy to repair if that's the case. :)
