My texts disappear on their own

Hello,
I have a rednote 7 and
for some time now I have noticed that the oldest texts are deleting themselves.
I wanted to retrieve some information received in a text from a few months ago and oh surprise, starting from a certain date and not the same for all the conversation threads, the texts had been deleted
I can't find any settings mentioning the deletion of texts...

Configuration: Android / Chrome 85.0.4183.101

    Hello,
    This is actually an automatic update of the messaging app.
    You need to go to the "Security" app and follow these steps:
    • Manage applications
    • Messages
    • Disable updates (symbol ø)

    All your SMS will then reappear.

      Good evening,

      I tried as you said.

      I don't have security on my Samsung A13.

      I have texts that must have been deleted during an update. Texts deleted with just one person. I don't think I deleted them by mistake.

      Is there anything else besides security??
