Acer Aspire ES 15 CD Drive

Good evening everyone,

I recently received a nice Acer Aspire ES 15 laptop for my birthday and I have to say it's great!
There’s just one problem that’s bothering me: I can’t open the CD drive. So before you ask, yes, there is one, and yes, I’ve already searched online but found no answer.

Can you help me?
How do I open this DVD drive?

Thank you in advance, it's very important for me as I’m a huge fan of PC gaming, it's quite frustrating!

    Is there no button on the CD player?
    Otherwise, open the file manager and right-click eject on the CD drive

      the thing is there is no trace of a drive in my file manager so maybe there isn't one... but what's strange is that on the right side of my computer, you can very clearly see the location of a drive!

      your answer was helpful, maybe there isn't one after all... in that case, I'll invest in a CD drive adapter!

        I have the same laptop and I wanted to tell you that if you unscrew the 4 small screws in the center under the computer, you can remove this "cover" which is not a DVD or CD drive but just a piece of plastic that can be taken off. Probably to make it look like there is a drive and entice people to buy it. There you go ^^ Happy New Year!
