No TV signal but "well-oriented" satellite dish

Question

Hello,
I just finished renovating my house, so I'm installing my satellite dish (60cm with a dual output LNB) and I'm unable to get a signal.
I've tried with a compass, with two people (one at the dish and the other at the receiver) and even with a satfinder.
At the top, the signal seems fine, but down below, nothing...
The bar graph on my Orange TV box remains grayed out. I tried with another regular satellite receiver and it’s the same thing.
What I don't understand is that even if my dish isn't perfectly aligned, I should still get a signal down below...
Another concern is that my house is quite tall, so I must have 30m of cable; could that be the source of my problem??
With the satfinder, the signal is significantly attenuated at the edge of my TV box.
I managed to pick up some foreign channels, so I figure my LNB is fine...
I don't get it.....

Hello,

Simple satellite dish adjustment issue..

You are probably not on the right satellite

and the fact that one shows a bit more signal than the other is because they are not set to the same transponder (that's all)

Can you explain this transponder issue to me? Because with my satfinder up high, I get a very good signal, but down in series, right next to my Orange decoder, it's significantly lower..  Best regards

but I'm trying to understand, I'm still doubtful: the satfinder in series on the dish? and in series on the orange receiver?

what is there to understand again? at the top, a piece of cable going from the LNB to the satfinder and the cable going down to the receiver?
at the bottom, the (30m) cable going to the LNB, and a piece of cable going from the LNB out to the receiver? (or did I not understand?)

No "folded" cables at right angles (and then unfolded)? Checking the F connectors?

Is it still the same with the satfinder?

That said, I still think you're not on the right satellite...

Still no response regarding the foreign channels received...

Hello,
the foreign channels I can receive start from 150 (on orange tv), so the free music channels and then various foreign channels (Al Jazeera, CBC, etc.)

Regarding the bent cable, do you think I would still get my 18V at the level of my satellite dish if my cable is damaged?
