Install HP Photosmart 5525

Hello

For several weeks now, I've had a new computer (Windows 10) and I'm trying to install my old HP Photosmart 5525 printer. Unfortunately, the connection between the computer and the printer isn't working.
I found an update that makes the printer compatible with Windows 10, but nothing has changed and it still gets stuck at the same point during installation (with no explanation), so I'm not sure what's causing the problem (the Wi-Fi?, the computer?, the printer?, karma?, ...)
Anyway, if anyone has any leads, I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I downloaded it from the official site. In the meantime, I checked, the update has been made as my printer program is up to date.

Is your printer connected via USB or something else?

I tried via Wi-Fi (the connection starts then stops halfway) and then I tried via USB cable (the connection doesn't even start, nothing happens).

By USB, you don't hear the sound of a connection?

I can hear it, but the installation program is not progressing. The "plug in the cable" page stays on screen and nothing happens.

or else, start the installation and wait for the "plug in the cable" page and plug it in at that moment.
