The person being celebrated, the honoree. (source: Wikipedia)
The optimist declared: this glass is half full. The pessimist replied: I would rather say it's half empty. The engineer then said: but no, this glass is simply twice too large. -

- It’s a joke that Congolese people cannot understand:
- Chamberlan Dadi wrote "aniverse" ; it’s a word that does not exist and that he completely invented.
- I then broke down ANIVERSE into ANI and VERSE.
- Next, I modified ANI into ANIS and VERSE into VERT.
- It turns out that anis vert, a plant related to aneth, is very common in the Mediterranean basin. Its seeds are used in the making of anise-flavored liqueurs and drinks (anisette, rakı, ouzo, pastis, arak, pontarlier, absinthe, etc.).
Hence my reference to Ricard, which is unknown in Congo, but is a well-known brand of pastis in France, particularly in the South. Pastis itself is the aperitif of choice in Marseille and throughout the South-East.
So there’s nothing strange for those who know ...

Nasser, your question doesn't make much sense.
Indeed, the answer depends on gender, age, religion, country...
For example, in France, for a 25-year-old single woman, one might say "on the occasion of St. Catherine's Day"; almost everywhere, for a 100-year-old man, one would say "you, the record holder of a lifetime annuity"; after a ritual operation, in Mediterranean countries, one would say to a boy "my beloved castrato"...
