Question about host-pay.com (46.16.202.130)

Hello,

I'm warning about what seems to be a strange thing regarding my credit card.

Today I see on my bank statement a withdrawal of €1, probably to check the validity of the credit card, followed by a larger payment of €22 on my end, with the information on my bank account stating "e-commerce HOST-PAY.COM." I then went to the website, which appears to be quite dubious, supposedly a PSP (payment service provider) without any legal mentions, hosted in Switzerland. A person on the site's chat is asking for EMAIL + mobile phone number, probably to divert the line to bypass the 3DS/VBV later on.

So be careful with host-pay.com.

_Francis_ this is a statement! I spoke with the person on the chat, I told him to send me 50€ BTC to my wallet so that I wouldn't publish everywhere SCAM HOST-PAY.COM, I got paid. I doubt that a legitimate PDP would send BTC due to threats.

Furthermore, the site asks for your EMAIL address and password. What more do you want _francis_, other than to cover them? So for those who might have HOST-PAY mentioned on their bank statement, don't get into the game, block your credit card.

    Thank you

Thank you for backing up my claims, my friend... all these sites are surely all kinds of CC & LOG grabbers. And thanks for the little research :)

I didn't quite understand what you meant by CC & LOG.

It's roughly the same as the iPhone scams for 1 euro.

You buy something and it subscribes you, and you get charged every month.
1 euro as you had, then 29.90 with the site I tested.

All these sites must have as the payment name one of the two sites mentioned above Vitosha Media or Host-pay.com so that the person doesn't know what it corresponds to and is forced to contact them.
And you have to call to unsubscribe, it will probably be charged.

Terms and conditions: This service is exclusively reserved for adults. Our rates and conditions are subject to change at any time. Please keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions. The Club access at 1 euro allows you to access the members' area for a duration of 15 minutes, to download an ebook, chat, receive advice via emails, and benefit from preferential rates on ebooks. The Gold option at 29.90 euros per month allows unlimited access to all these services and to download the entire ebook library without any additional fees. By validating this page, you subscribe to the Club subscription with the Gold option, which will be activated 15 minutes after your validation. Trial offer terms: you have the option to cancel within 48 hours following the validation of the Gold option and Club access, by clicking here. Any refund request within 48 hours will incur a non-refundable fee of 19€. Attention: closing the page does not unsubscribe you. Without any action on your part during the trial period, the Club subscription with the Gold option will be confirmed. Access to the Gold Club will be charged in a single transaction amounting to three months of monthly subscription to the Gold Club. The amount of this subscription may vary depending on your country of residence, payment method, and currency used. You may unsubscribe at any time, but any period started beyond the trial period remains due and cannot be refunded.

Funny thing, there is a site that claims to be able to unsubscribe you from all scam sites that charge you monthly, it also features the name of one of the iPhone scams and others.

        There are 3 services:
        - an explanatory PDF for 24.90 euros
        - turnkey service, they do everything for 44.90 euros
        - express, where you're prioritized for 49.90 euros.

        It's unbelievable.

In my case, I can assure you that I haven't subscribed to anything; my credit card numbers were stolen. I had a deduction of €1 today at 2:08 PM, and then at 2:11 PM, another one of €22.

If you want to know whether a stolen credit card is valid, the hacker makes a purchase of €1 to €5. If the payment goes through, then the credit card is valid, and they can make larger purchases. This practice is called "carding" (internet purchases with stolen credit cards).

But there's something even more profitable, it's called "autocarding." You create a fake website, and you cash in the stolen credit cards yourself. So in this scheme, you need fake sites to grab (grabber = recover) the credit card numbers, and then other sites to cash them in, just like a honest merchant :)

Well, if your credit cards were stolen and someone signs up for payment sites...
There's not much we can do.

For me, these sites are just sites that aim to get you subscribed through special offers of 1 euro.
This type of practice can only generate dissatisfied customers at some point.

      Hello,

This testimony is completely false and has only one motivation, to harm the services of our company.

Prove that this is a false testimony.

Otherwise, the opt-in on the terms of use, which also states that we are over 18, is in my opinion, prohibited: https://pjjoint.malekal.com/files.php?read=20160311_w148j5q12c11

How do you explain that I had the same issue!!! 2 payments made of 9 and 1 euros. When I ask for explanations on the chat, strangely no more dialogue.
You can't find an email address, no payments made.
If you are a serious company, provide a complete address, SIRET number, etc...
I will create other alerts. And I will do everything to harm your so-called company.

    Hello,
I confirm that this is indeed a scam. If you have the misfortune of leaving your card, it will be charged instantly with no way to recover it, no service, and the amounts are much higher than €22.
The contact details are carefully concealed, the emails are fake, and the aforementioned phone number leads nowhere. You have no recourse other than to file a complaint!
To the representative of hostpay/vitosha, if you are honest, publish your company's contact details as you are legally required to do: name, VAT number, corporate name, full address, representative.
Also, provide a valid email address and respond to inquiries!

Hello, the same for us, two withdrawals of less than 5 euros from host-pat.com
we cannot link these amounts to a recent transaction.
On the internet, the page is not engaging and there's a phone number to call with multiple search entries on Google—it's very suspicious.
I think the only recourse is to block the card and file a complaint.
      Best regards.
