Epson cx17 and clean CTD sensor

Hello,
I have an EPSON CX17 printer and the following message appears: clean CTD sensor.
I'm using Mac El Capitan.
The EPSON manual mentions the Printer Setting Utility, but I can't find this utility on my Mac.
Which version should I install to find this utility?

    Hello,

    the Epson manual clearly states that the "Printer Setting Utility" only exists for Windows, while for Mac the manual says to use the Status Monitor Widget. See page 22 of the manual:

    For cleaning the CTD sensor, it’s something that is done manually, no software needed, see page 113 of this same manual.
