Moreover, the card is "lifetime" and provided with the terminal, while it is paid and requires renewal with TNT SAT.

Another advantage is that if your TV is equipped with a satellite tuner and a CI+ Fransat certified PCMCIA interface, you can do without a decoder => no more cables, better quality, and only one remote control. Canal refuses this interesting solution by not selling a module + card, they require an external terminal certified by Canal.
