Good evening,

How do I open a .cap file?

I want to do a firmware update on my ASUS Maximus V Gene motherboard, and I can't do it.

    Put "zip" instead of "cap" and unzip the file, I think it should work..

      Hello Mephisto and thank you for your help, but I found the solution! I had to load the .cap file onto a blank USB drive and load it in the BIOS menu of my ASUS motherboard.

      My BIOS is updated and everything seems to be working!
