THOMSON Tower that turns off by itself

I cannot find any reference to this device in the Thomson manual.
Often, the issues with the shutdown of devices connected via jack to a television are caused by a sound level that is too low on the television's output.
Check if that is the case and if the manual addresses this topic.

Okay, I'm going to try to turn up the volume on the television to see if that works. Thank you for your help.

on the same tower ds401 thomson, when I press "standby," it starts up for one second and then stops.
it was the power supply board that can be found at the base of the device.

1) First and IMPORTANT: UNPLUG THE 220V PLUG and then press the "standby" button until the display completely turns off
(otherwise one of the capacitors in the power supply remains charged to 310v)

2) remove the bottom plate (4 wood screws + one on the metal side)
3) remove the bottom speaker. (and not the top speaker!) 4 wood screws
2) remove the vent tube (made of cardboard and plastic) that obstructs access to the board
3) remove the board (3 wood screws) and pass it through the vent hole

(we can't congratulate them on feasibility)

desolder and replace the capacitor C3 22 µF 50 v on this board

reassemble in reverse order and it works.. !
