CD Issues with Philips Hi-Fi System

Hello! I'm writing because I'm having a problem with my Philips HIFI system
When I put a CD in the CD player and close it, it displays "close".
So I can't listen to CDs...
What should I do? If someone has the answer, please write to me as soon as possible, thank you in advance.

    I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand the problem because it's normal to see "close" displayed when the CD drawer closes. The display stays stuck on that and the CD playback doesn't start, is that right? What is the exact model of your HiFi system?
