Hello, having recently felt like playing on the Wii U again, I realize that its gamepad no longer turns on and doesn't show the orange light when I plug in the charger.
Thinking that it's due to the battery being completely dead, I decide to buy a new one, which is the high-capacity battery, but I notice that even after connecting this battery, the gamepad still doesn't turn on.
What do you think? Is it the gamepad that is completely dead or is the charger defective?
I tried plugging the charger into all the outlets in my home, but with no success.

"I tried plugging the charger into all the outlets in my house but without success." I therefore presume a charger failure. If you can, borrow a charger from a friend and test it. If it still doesn't work, we can try one last hypothesis...
This hypothesis is to use the Wii U charging dock; if you have one, plug the charger into it and place the GamePad on top, and see the effects. Test with the other charger, of course. If it doesn't work, I think the controller is dead.

But the problem is that I've seen in YT videos that people who bought the high-capacity battery could directly turn on the gamepad right after installation, which is not my case. :-(
