Hidden comment in a .odt

Hello,

I made a text comment for someone using Open Office, using the comments (small yellow box in the margin). Then I sent the file to the person who opened it in Open Office, but this person cannot see the comments. I downloaded the file again with the link I had sent him, and the comments are indeed present on my end.

Does anyone have an idea of what is happening?

    check if the comments box is checked in the display options.

    Thank you very much for the response, but unfortunately after trying to check/uncheck, it doesn't seem to come from there.

    I am perplexed. :-D
