Hello
When I tried to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Standard, a window opened with these words
“The general vocabulary selected bestmatch plus is incompatible or not valid”
I must admit I don’t understand if QQ has any idea
Thanks for your help

      Hello, I saw that you had fixed the medical dictionary import issue. I currently have the same problem, and even the import right after the installation (before the update) does nothing. Do you have another solution to resolve this issue? Thank you!

      I have the same problem as another user you offered to help. I can no longer use Naturally Speaking and I get a message like "incompatible vocabulary" or something similar.
      What would you advise?

      here I installed Dragon Naturally Speaking 9.5 Professional French.
      I tried to import the Medical vocabulary but unfortunately I get an error message:
      "The chosen BestMatch Plus vocabulary is incompatible or invalid" .
      Would it be possible to help me please ?

      Same problem as you since Nov 2008 with "vocabulary BestMatch plus..." and on top of that I can't uninstall Dragon Nat Speaking- Have you found the solution?

    At my place the problem came after an automatic Windows update, did it happen to you as well? In this case, before launching Dragon Verify in msconfig (Start/Run, type msconfig), go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck the processes SSBkgdupdate and ISUSPM (they are not Windows processes, no problem). No need to reinstall the software.

    Look closely at the options in Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / the Administrative tab. In the "Language for non-Unicode programs" section, select "Change system locale...". Make sure the language is French, to avoid an inconsistency between characters such as é è ê à ù ç and the other characters that specify the French language and distinguish it from English or another language.
