Hello,

During a spreadsheet class, my teacher manipulated my laptop in a way that inadvertently modified my ribbon. Now, it is wider than before and some icons have disappeared.

In particular, the icon for the eraser for the table (ribbon -> layout -> eraser)

Do you have any idea how to undo this maneuver or do you know how to restore the default ribbon?

P.S.: I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Office and this issue applies to all my Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ...)

Thank you!

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 47.0.2526.80

Good evening,

Your teacher has obviously used the touch mode which makes the ribbon wider and spaces out the buttons, so some less-used buttons disappear.

The Mouse/Touch toggle button is probably on the Quick Access toolbar. If it isn’t there, click the arrow at the end of this toolbar and then click on the “Touch/Mouse Mode” command.

Once installed, you just need to click the button to switch from one mode to the other.
