Hello,

I searched the forum but couldn't find the solution: it's probably something really simple, but I'm still stuck...

I have a document, I've created titles, subtitles, etc. I can display a table of contents.
BUT I can't get my titles to show up in the navigation pane: how do I do that???
I can use them in documents where the titles are ALREADY in the pane, but in the docs I create, I just can't...

Thanks in advance if a kind soul could tell me where to click...

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 46.0.2490.86

    Good evening Blandine

If the titles are defined in heading styles 1, 2, etc…
To display them in the navigation pane: View tab / Show group, check ‘Navigation Pane’
In the pane that appears on the left, the ‘browse the headings of your document’ tab is activated by default, otherwise click on it. There, the file structure will be displayed by heading style

To create a table of contents: References tab / Table of Contents and choose the desired template
