Hello,
After buying an Asus N751 J laptop, I upgraded to Windows 10.
I noticed a display problem at every startup.
Indeed, my screen is "cut off" on the right.
This problem is fixed when I choose a different screen resolution and then switch back to the original resolution, but it’s quite bothersome.
I know it’s not very clear, but I made an image to show this issue.
Thank you in advance
The part on the right of what is red is the cut-off part.

update drivers
especially for your graphics card:
here:
https://www.driverscloud.com/fr/actualite/230-1/nouveau-service-de-drivers-ma-configcom
installation of the agent
automatic installation
then go to your downloads folder (or another path that you have defined)
now launch DriversCloud.com start the selection then on detect
a webpage opens
click on the my drivers tab
you then have the list of your drivers to update.
then download your drivers.
create a restore point before. -
Hello
funny enough, I have the same issue with my Asus, except that my "cut-off" is less pronounced than yours, a violet line and thinner!
My PC is on W10 and I'm up to date, of course!
If your Asus is new, send it back, I don't think it's a driver issue?
Mine is no longer under warranty and works well, I'll finish it like this!

Device manager => disable your graphics card and then enable it.
or
right-click on the start button
control panel
display
on your left click adjust resolution
Select the line "Make text and other items smaller or larger"
Check the box "Let me choose a level of scaling for all my displays"
Then click apply. Note that you will need to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
in case you have an nvidia graphics card
right-click on the start button
search
type nvidia
display
change resolution
and there you have the settings.
